URAIS carries out scientific dissemination activities with the aim of bringing knowledge about environmental radioactivity closer to society.
In this context, studies are carried out with an informative approach focused on determining the radioactive content in environmental samples from the immediate environment, in order to facilitate the understanding of radiological control and its impact on the environment.
Likewise, members of the unit participate in dissemination and training activities, such as the Repte Experimenta program, as well as in giving talks in the field of radioactivity aimed at different audiences.
